Nobody funds us. Liverpool does.
We get no council money and no grant. Every radio, torch, first-aid kit, foil blanket and bottle of water our volunteers carry has been paid for by someone local who decided it was worth it. If you'd like to be one of those people, here's how.
Three ways to help
Money, kit, or a favour.
All three keep us out on the street.
Running a patrol costs less than people assume, but it isn't free. Insurance, radios, batteries, torches, first-aid supplies and the welfare items we hand out all have to come from somewhere.
Whatever you give, we'll tell you plainly what it went on. If you'd rather buy something off the list yourself than send money, that's genuinely just as useful.
Give what you can
There's no minimum and there's no clever fundraising target. A few pounds covers batteries for a torch; a bit more covers a radio or a first-aid kit. Everything goes on kit, training and insurance so we can keep groups out on the street — nobody here takes a wage.

If you run a business in the city, you can help in ways money can't: donated stock, a warm room for a briefing, printing, storage, or sponsoring a set of kit. We'll credit you honestly and we won't pretend a donation is an endorsement of anything else.

Costs are indicative and change with suppliers — if you'd like to know exactly what a specific donation was spent on, ask us and we'll tell you.
